  • In January 2017, the Half-fare MetroDay name was changed to Under 19 MetroDay. It's still exactly the same product at exactly the same price. 

    What is Under 19 MetroDay?

    Under 19 MetroDay is a multi-operator bus ticket, which allows unlimited daily travel on any bus* in West Yorkshire at any time just £2.75*.

    It is the perfect daily ticket for young people who use services provided by more than one operator to complete their journey or for those who wish to explore West Yorkshire for leisure or study. 

    Who can get a Under 19 MetroDay?

    The ticket is available to young people aged 5-16 years old with a Young Person’s or Under 16 PhotoCard and 16-18 year olds with a 16-18 PhotoCard. PhotoCards are currently available online or from Metro Travel Centres.

    When can you get a Under 19 MetroDay?

    Under 19 MetroDay is available every day of the week.

    Where can you buy Under 19 MetroDay?

    Simply buy an Under 19 MetroDay ticket directly from the driver. They will issue you with a paper ticket, which you can show to the driver on any* other bus service you use that day. 

    How much is a Under 19 MetroDay?

    It costs just £2.75*. Over 19s can buy a MetroDay for £6.00*.
