Which Pass?

The types of pass and permit you need for travelling to and from school, college or uni, will vary depending on where you are going.

Getting to school by bus

If you travel to school by bus, you will either use the 'My bus' yellow school buses, or you'll get on a public bus.

Either way, the type of pass or permit you require will depend on which school you go to.

You can find out passes information for your school in our schools A-Z pages.

Students and under 22s

It is often cheaper to buy a season ticket if you're a regular user of buses and/or trains.

Students in full-time study (including mature students) and anyone under the age of 22, can buy a weekly or monthly Student Plus MetroCard, valid on most bus and train services throughout West Yorkshire. You will also need a PhotoCard, which you can buy with your season ticket.
