The Get_On teaching pack is a cross-curricular resource for KS 3 students with links to PSHE, Citizenship, English, Maths and ICT.
It has been developed by curriculum experts to convey important messages to this age group about the world of public transport.
The resource:
- is relevant (curriculum-based) and easy to use.
- is appealing to students.
- informs students about travelling safely.
- equips students with skills for travelling independently on public transport.
- enables students to make sustainable transport choices.
Activities
- CD rom – interactive exercises for pupils and resources for teachers (e.g. lesson plans and worksheets to print off).
- Classroom posters – highlighting the key issues, the four posters can be used for display or as teaching aids.
